OCD Consultation for Therapists

2026 Cohorts Now Enrolling

If you're here, my guess is that you work with OCD, or you want to work with OCD, or maybe like me - you've accidentally fallen into an OCD specialization because so many of your clients are showing up in your office with "weird anxiety."

In 2023 I started noticing that people I'd been working with for years on their "anxiety" weren't getting any better. Well… they'd get better, at the end of our session each week. Then they would show up the next session just as anxious as before. "Weird," I'd think, "EMDR isn't doing what it usually does."

I was used to people coming to me with debilitating anxiety and finding relief quickly with IFS and EMDR. I was so confident in my tools, but found that something was just different with this small handful of clients.

Thankfully, one of my amazing clients turned a light bulb on for me when they suggested that they might have OCD. It opened up a whole new world for me. I sought out training and still didn't feel fully equipped — until I found approaches that finally clicked. Over the last two years I have invested deeply in learning to treat OCD effectively, and it has been a game changer for my practice.

This group is for therapists who are somewhere on that same journey — whether you're just starting to recognize OCD in your caseload or you've been working with it for years and want a community to think it through with. Whatever modality you're using, you belong here.

Details

This group will focus on consultation for treating OCD — the clinical complexity, the diagnostic nuance, and the moments where even good clinicians get stuck. We will draw on a range of evidence-based approaches and you are welcome regardless of which modality you primarily use.

The only prerequisite is that you are actively working with OCD clients and have some foundational training in OCD treatment. If you want to do some reading before we start, suggested resources will be provided — but nothing is required.

This group is capped at 8 people to keep it intimate and focused. It does not count toward EMDR or IFS certification hours.
